Sanctuary

"Sanctuary"

Media: Acrylic, Glass Beads, Colored Pencil, Paper Cutouts

Dimensions: 23 x 37 x 1.5 inches

Statement: A rainy scene where two frogs take shelter under a large leaf, as another frog jumps to join them. This piece symbolizes the safety and comfort found in family and chosen groups. The shelter of home is further represented through the beaded spiderweb.

While home can be a physical place to come back to, it is most importantly being with those you love.
